Leading by Love

Being a Christian, I used to post about my faith often in the past. In recent times, I've found it difficult to post about it due to fear of judgment. Spreading faith isn't easy for many people especially in a world full of negativity. It's hard to be a person in this world whether you're Christian or not. Everyone has their own struggles.

I'm here to tell you that I love you. For people of all types, I love you. I don't care who you are, where you come from, what religion you are, who you love- I love you as you are. In a judgemental world, there needs to be more love.

I feel as if some Christians judge others and that people who aren't followers of Christ judge Christians. From my experiences, it goes both ways. If you feel a different way, that's okay. Everyone experiences things in life in different ways.

Some Christians may judge others for their sin. In reality, all Christians sin. Some people may interpert that as if it's an excuse to sin. No, my point is that we should acitvely be trying to be the best versions of ourselves despite failing. Nobody is perfect. We will never be perfect. The only perfect being was Jesus, and He called us to love everyone. 1 John 4:11 says "Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another."

God is the ultimate judge, not us. Who are we to judge others? God put me on this planet to love everyone as they are. I don't mean to seem as if I'm this perfect person, because I'm far from it. I will fail at times. So will everyone. I will have shortcomings, but I'm putting all of my effort into being the best person I can be. I desire to lead by example by showing others love and kindess no matter who they are. I want to lead by love, and I hope you do too.

Thank you for reading. I wish you all the best.

With love,
Lauryn Pyatt
